This role will be responsible for accounting and payment operation functions, including calculating and preparing various financial and reconciliation reports, assisting with month end close and financial statement consolidation/preparation in accordance with GAAP, assisting with tax filings, accurate accounting of transactions in Quickbooks, and tracking/reconciling manual payment operation transactions. The ideal candidate would be interested in learning the various applications and systems we use in finance and be involved in further automating and streamlining our accounting and payment operation processes. 


  • Accounting responsibilities
    • Prepare month end revenue entries and allocations by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information from various sources
    • Review and import payroll JE's from our PEO into Quickbooks and follow up on any report issues
    • Reconcile bank and credit card accounts and review expense coding for accuracy
    • Calculate some of the month end journal entries and reconcile related balance sheet accounts
    • Calculate and book intercompany transactions and reconcile intercompany accounts
    • Prepare calculations for monthly and quarterly B&O tax returns
    • Assist with the preparation of sales tax calculations and the related state filings in 10 states using Tableau Prep flows, Tableau Online and TaxJar
    • File year-end tax forms 1099 and 3921 (exercise of ISO options)
    • Maintain accurate records for King County property tax reporting
    • Maintain accurate documentation of accounting procedures and confidentiality of financial information
  • Payment Operation responsibilities
    • Research discrepancies in doxo’s daily payment processing reconciliation using various systems like QuickSight, FIS IQ reporting and bank data
    • Maintain accurate records for all of doxo's manual transactions related to payment processing, including manual refund checks to users
    • Prepare payment operation liability cleanup reports using Tableau Online and Excel and oversee resolution of the liability by the Support team
    • Assist in the implementation of Salesforce to track manual payment processing transactions 


  • Bachelor degree in Accounting
  • 3-4 years accounting experience, understanding of debits and credits and experience with journal entries
  • Very strong computer skills including Excel and Quickbooks
  • Tableau and QuickSight experience a definite plus
  • State reporting and sales tax experience a definite plus
  • Efficient and a quick learner
  • Strong communication skills and team player
  • Detail-oriented and accurate
  • Experience using technology to streamline and automate processes
